I’ve always realized that we seem to be in a constant state of war. Until a few years ago, I mistakenly assumed we were the good guys in a battle against evil. Today I know much differently.
For my entire life, which is a very long time, the United States has sought the fight the poorest and most vulnerable people around the world. I believe it is simply for profit for a very small number of people, and nothing more complicated.
We must take the moral high ground and lead by example. We must end our economic sanctions on all countries around the world. Limiting resources and humanitarian aid for the most vulnerable cannot be justified for any reason.
Last week, Iran reiterated how sanctions are making the corona-virus outbreak much worse. This senseless cruelty must stop!
